“All current ACHE members located in the Connecticut area will, automatically, be members of the Connecticut chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Only current members of ACHE will be eligible to be members of the chapter.
If you are not a current member, we encourage you to join by going to the ACHE website at www.ache.org

Education/Program Committee:
The Education committee is chaired by Morris Gross, FACHE. Other members include Diana Carrano, Timothy Cleary, Richard Gaenzle, Marc Kosak, Curtis Leung, Kate McDonald, Matt McDonough, Linda Milton, Tami Moe, Ed Pezalla, Susan Prior, Patrick Schminke, Jonathan Tamir, and Lisa Wells.
The goal of the Education Committee is to plan, organize and deliver quality based educational and networking events that benefit all of our membership, promote interaction through networking, and encourage membership in our CAHE group. This is accomplished through the delivery of Category 1 and Category 2 educational events, and through cosponsoring events with groups such as CHA and the Yale School of Management.

Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee is co-chaired by Jim Hite, FACHE, and Caroline Piselli, FACHE. Other members include Matthew Browning, Donna Daniels, Babtunde Green, Gary Havican, Kurt Leung, Angela Mattie, Allyson Nadeau, Bill Nellis, Henderson Rose, Louisa Tang, and John Tobin.
The Committee's charge is to bolster membership in CAHE and provide value to the current members from both national and regional resources.

Communications Committee:
The Communications Committee is co-chaired by Jean Ahn, FACHE, and Aaron Mitra, FACHE. Other members include Gina Calder, Silvia Hutcheson, Jillian Jweinat, Lucas Ladden, Carle-Marie Memnon, Emily Safino, and Gary Smart.
The committee is responsible for ensuring active communication for members, including management of the Chapter Newsletter and Website (http://ctahe.ache.org/).

Sponsorship Committee:
The Sponsorship Committee is co-chaired by Kurt Barwis, FACHE, and Chad Wable, FACHE. This committee serves as the focal point for fielding inquiries about sponsorships and developing CAHE's sponsorship program.
Other members of the committee include Gayle Capozzalo, FACHE (National Chair), Quinton Friesen, FACHE, Morris Gross, FACHE, Steve Merz, FACHE (Regent), and Nancy Rosenthal, FACHE (President).

C-Suite Bootcamp:
The C-Suite Bootcamp is a tailored program for leaders emerging into new C-Suite organizational positions (promotions or new to Connecticut). The program provides an in-depth orientation to the healthcare market in Connecticut, with a focus on legislative, regulatory, financial and market factors specific to our state.
Bob Trefry, FACHE is chair of this committee. Other members include Kurt Barwis, FACHE, Gayle Capozzalo, FACHE, Paul DiLeo, FACHE, Quinton Friesen, FACHE, Morris Gross, FACHE, Kim Hostetler (Vice President, Education, CHA), Steve Merz, FACHE, and Nancy Rosenthal, FACHE.
Higher Education Committee:
Nancy Rosenthal is the chair of this committee. The goal of this committee is to forge partnerships with schools in the region, training students in healthcare management.
Finance and Audit Committee:
In addition to chairing the Sponsorship Committee, Kurt Barwis chairs the Finance and Audit Committee. This committee is responsible for the accurate financial transactions of the organization. The commitee maintains and reviews the records and accounts of the organization and submits a report to the Board of Directors.
